Handling technical complexity is your daily challenge, you are experts and leaders in your area, yet you need to convey your advice in a client-friendly manner.
We used to be private practice lawyers, in Magic Circle Firms in Europe. Today we believe Legal Design offers a compelling way to visualize complexity and make it more accessible in short documents, while retaining their full legal scope.
In practice, we design submissions before French jurisdictions, complex facts and concepts in high profile litigation cases, memoranda, legal opinions, board presentation decks to bring your expertise forward.
Compliance issues can be a show stopper. Ensuring that your investee companies have a real, beyond tick-the-box compliance programme means speedier due diligence, a stronger negotiation position, hence more value.
We design Compliance programs as well as CSR reports, to transform them from a regulatory requirement into a strategic document. We focus on investors needs to understand the stakes of sustainable finance through precise indicators, that can be easily visualized.
As an in-house lawyer, you need to “do ever more with ever less”, earn the right to be listened to by the business and cope with the injunction to innovate.
We’ve been there.
The good news is that Legal Design is an incredibly powerful tool for efficiency, to reveal lawyers as facilitators and drivers of innovation. And retain millennial talent.
Through projects such as digital platforms, contracts and compliance we help you meet your clients’ expectations of clarity, accessibility and speed. And shine!
User-centricity is key in the public sector, to ensure citizens have a clear understanding of, and full access to legal information. We have been working alongside governmental institutions to walk the talk – and ensure the accessibility of the law.
Working on highly technical topics such as Data Privacy or access to public health, we share our expertise on plain language and user-accessibility. We also strongly rely on neurosciences principles to convey key messages to vulnerable citizens and empower them to make their own decisions, and to take action.
We are convinced that Legal Design is a powerful tool to improve access to justice.
Leveraging over 15 years of associative experience (legal clinics, pro-bono projects, ABA, AFPAD…) we know that those who most need access to legal services are those who benefit the least from it.
This is why we’re happy to give our time, expertise and engagement to at least one pro-bono project per year.
