🌟Why has #Neuroscience taken a key part in our #legaldesign projects ?
🤬We were a bit shocked when discovering a Berkeley study showing that our brain has been “trained to accept” online T&C’s in fine print and authoritative style. Those boilerplates stimulate an automatic brain response of “I don’t read”, hence the global plague of online blind signing.
Since then, we’ve been digging into the amazing potential of neurosciences to better understand how our brain captures legal information, how to stimulate it to actually read, think and make enlightened choices. And how to better manage change, and measure value we create.
To do so, we developed partnerships with all-star Dominique A., Neurosciences Expert at Neuro@work, and with Mathilde DA ROCHA, PhD in Cognitive Neurosciences, through our User Testing Lab.
What does it mean in practice?

As we start new projects, Neurosciences help us
✅ Design a project plan taking into account cognitive limitations, in particular the “fight or flight” response towards what the brain considers as a threat
✅ Enhance user research, for example by creating data-driven personas
✅ Precisely identify what might hook up targeted audience
We use Google Analytics reports to better understand the trafic and users navigation habits on our website, but that’s only if you agree. This service transfers data to Google’s servers based in the United States.
