We are very happy to have launched a brand new project with a globally acclaimed art gallery to redesign their contractual documents in Asia
🔸Our goal ? Legal terms made accessible to novice buyers, especially in the buzz of art fairs, while respecting the artworld longstanding traditions and codes. Subtlety, suggestion and Asia-centricity – to ensure a wholesome user-experience for collectors.
This project highlights the importance of ethnographic research, user profiles & journeys as we deep dive on their motivations and symbolism to make them easily understand what is means – contractually- to say “I want this artwork!”
🔸It also resonates with months of collaborative work and thinking with Alana Kushnir & the Serpentine Galleries Legal Lab to re-think legal tools and processes to foster the now indispensable collaboration between artists, developers, galleries, lawyers…
This is yet another opportunity to reflect on #innovation within the cultural sphere and building bridges between law and art !
